JE home ,



hell0s !
i've just done transfering all my files into my thumbdrive , deleted lots of things in my phone .. did this as my phone went sot today on the way to JE home and at JE home .. hahas .. think it's cos' the files have taken lots of space ..
so , woke up at 8.30am today , went to shower at 8.45am , prepared then bused to causeway to meet my friends .. everyone was early today ! hahas ..
went to have breakfast , chat a little there and left causeway at 10.25am.
walked to school , chatted on the way ..
reached school , slacked a little , went to 2/1 10' classroom ..
had rehearsal for afternoon's actual ..
then left school at 12.30pm , chartered bus to JE home ..
reached there , put bags , served the elderly the food ..
then had all the programs up .. the folding of boat , the game , the skit & the songs ..
assisted two elderly with the paper boat folding .. before that , the uncle i was assisting with folded a crane and he gave me , but sadly i didn't bring it home .. but i took a picture of it ! hahas .. then taught him how to fold the paper boat , he's a quick learner .. the second attempt he tried himself , he kind of forgot the steps .. seeing it , i felt kind of sad , i don't know why .. then there's another auntie i was assisting with , she couldn't really see , so i folded the boat for her ^^
then it was time for games , the elderly are cute ! hahas .. some said the tortoise didn't belong to them , so couldn't have it , but actually we were just having a game .. some said the tortoise belonged to them and they didn't want to pass it ard , those who won were given bracelet , seeing them happy makes me happy too ! ^^
the skit was ok , then to the songs part .. a few elderly smiled at me when we were singing ! felt so warm inside of me .. i didn't know that our singing could make them happy too .. this was the first time i didn't feel tensed at all singing in front of so many ppl ..
after that , we distributed cookies to them .. helped them to open the packet , felt so happy !
overall , today was really great ! it turned out better than what i expected !
i looked ard the room , sensed the atmosphere .. it's really sad to leave them in the home , but i'm glad there are a few good nurses there to take care of them .. some elderly had a sad expression on their faces , some were happy .. i had the feeling that i wanted to come again , for all the next 3 session , i want to make them feel appreciated and feel happy ! they're nice ppl .. i'm glad i made them smile today ^^ the picture below is the crane that uncle has folded ! i hope to see them again on my next visit ♥




after that , bused back to school , went canteen for a briefing .. then headed to causeway with apples , walked ard , went home at 4.40pm ..
reached home , bathed my hamster , i showered , used comp to transfer this and that ..
currently blogging , hahas ..
this week i'm super busy , but i'm glad that GB stuffs are over , as in proposals and scrapbook .. hahas .. school's reopening in a week's time .. hahas ..
